There are about 100 bus lines in Hanoi. Figuring out exactly where the buses go can
be a challenge, and service on some of the lines is infrequent. One can buy a ticket on
buses with a cost of 7,000 VND for normal travel distance. One of the most convenient
ways to figure out how to go by bus is to use an App on your smart phone. You can download
them from Google Play or App Store.
Taxi is a more comfortable way getting around Hanoi. Since different companies
have different prices, one should ask drivers in advance if possible.
