Abstract
Clusters are begin used more broadly in High Performance Computing area due to low cost and good performance. And Grid technology allows to connect and share computing resources like clusters. Globus Toolkit 4.x (GT 4.x), a popular Grid middleware, supports several cluster management softwares such as PBS, LSF, but not all of them. Supernode II is a PC-based cluster running its own cluster management software and it is used as grid node in the campus grid, developed in EDAGrid project, based on GT 4.x. In this paper, the problem how a cluster like Supernode II is intergrated into GT 4.x is presented. Moreover, aspects from designing to experience are also discussed.
