Abstract
Today, acceptance of the asynchronous technology by the semi-conductor industry strongly depends on the development and the availability of powerful tools. Among them, simulation is one of the most important tools. The paper represents a high-level modeling using Petri Nets. This behavior model helps simulating to-be-implemented circuits so that the potential errors can be found early in the design flow.
