There are about 55 bus lines in Hanoi. Figuring out exactly where the buses go can
be a challenge, and service on some of the lines is infrequent. One can buy a ticket on
buses with a cost of 3,000 VND for normal travel distance and 5,000 VND for
a long travel distance.
Taxi is a more comfortable way getting around Hanoi. Since different companies
have different prices, one should ask drivers in advance if possible.
